FT17

Thats the last RM3 model done ...for now at any rate. The two man French FT17 light tank was the first ever armoured vehicle with a fully revolving turret. It was first used in the First World War and came in seveal variations. Later it was adopted by other nations and eventually produced in the thousands. This model carries a basic 37mm gun, a weapon that wasn't really good for much (are they ever?) but would be able to take out the Rolls Royce armoured car which gives some balance to the game's heavier elements. The second image shows the various models in comparison of scale...

The model is 1/48 scale, in resin, by the French company Gaso Line, and frankly, its a bit crap. Its too big for 28mm figures, the parts fit together badly and it was expensive. Since I bought it (ages ago) I've found that Brigade Games, have FT17 models in white metal that are cheaper and to the correct scale... C'est la vie.
