en glædigt nyhed!
Yet another baby brought into the world! Last night, our friend Allison gave birth to a healthy baby girl, weighing in at a good 4.2kg I believe (just a little less than Freja). So far there is no name for the little one and Mette and I are waiting with interest to see what Allison and Christian decide upon.

Freja and Kristoffer

Today, Allison and Kristoffer came by and we all four went to the børnenes jord which is a local
area set aside for children (and now threatened with closure due to the council budget). Most of the local kindergartens are now on strike and after three months of looking after Kristoffer, Allison is going out of her mind whilst she is eight months pregnant and in some
discomfort (I don't know how to translate bækken løsning, but its something uncomfortable that happens to pregnent women as they get bigger). We went to the play-ground and ran around like puppies make funny noises. Sometimes it sounds
like they have their own language. They make strange noises and look at each other and it appears as though they're talking to each other. They know what they are saying even if the grown ups don't. The play-ground can be a bit scary sometimes, but it only took Freja a few minutes to work up the courage to crawl through the tunnel as you can see on the pictures. She is totally fearless compared to most children. I wonder where she gets it from...?

Political Pipski

Yesterday we all gathered at the city hall and demonstrated against the closing of Huset. Naturally Freja put on her most adamant expression for the occiasion and dutifully joined in with each round of applause (except when she was eating her banana) .

Our (highly pregnant) friend Alison, who is a great one for using Huset also came along as well and together we listened to Villy Søvndal holding a speech (a painful experience for me since I had to agree with some of what he said).
