Today was almost a mile stone for Denmark. After numerous set backs,
Copenhagen Suborbitals attempted a test launch of their proposed manned space rocket, the nine metre tall, 1.6 ton, 175000hp
HEAT1X-Tycho Brahe from the
Baltic Sea, off the island of
Bornholm. The mission which was postponed after the ignition failed, is a test, firing a dummy passenger some 30km up into the atmosphere. It is Denmark's first serious rocket launch and it is a fore runner to a planned manned launch in three years time.
With luck the rocket will be launched tomorrow...

The team sending the rocket up, have also built their own submarine, the
UC3 Nautilus.
