If the back ground looks odd, then its because I'm experimenting with tiling the image, trying to make it work better on bigger screens

Just as a thought here - have you thought about compiling all the Rocketman scenarios into a book for publication? I suspect that given the rise in popularity of retro looking games this may be a hit.

That could be fun, though I'd be surprised if it sold in any great number. It would require a lot more work I think, and it would have to be adapted to some other rules. That or we'd have to publish Oleg's skirmish rules in the same book, which could be tricky as they are loosely based on the DBA rules. I wouldn't be adverse to the idea if I had the first clue how to go about it, but right now, I have to create the games first (there are 27 or more games planned. most of which are still just idea's in my head)

...or did you mean a novel?

I was thinking more along the lines of a role playing scenario book. There are so many out there now dealing with Weird world war II, Culthulu, Vampires, Zombies and the rest that something along your lines will have an interested audience I'm sure. tie that in with a rule set and you never know.

...now that sounds like an idea... I had no idea that all the art work was your own, and it looks really good....

...self publishing is pretty cheap these days & with a couple of announcements on TMP you might be surprised at how much interest you get...??

Perhaps I'll look into it once the current games are finished. That would make for 24 games.

Given how many tailor made modles I've got for the current games however, I'd probably have to include diagrams as to how to make armoured trains, tramp steamers and all the as yet undisclosed stuff...

We have played the scenario now, and it was as much fun as one would expect, given Jan's heroic preparation.

Although the DBA / M / R rules we generally use shouldn't be published, as they started as mere crib sheets, the Bayonet rules are pretty far removed: Basically D6 v D6 with better than = suppressed and doubled = downed. I think an aknowledgement would be polite, of course.
