Welcome home indeed. the debris seen around the shuttle was apparently a result of the cargo bay not being cleaned out properly (no budget for cleaners within NASA). so now we have pieces of dust orbiting the earth a 1,200 miles per second.
On another note have you seen the new pics from Mars? Stunnning imagery.
Indeed! I missed the live televised launch and landing this time round :-( I guess if you've seen one, you've seen them all, but there's nothing quite like the anticipation of a live liftoff, aye? :-)
