Its been a long hard month so far and I've not really had time to even think about art, so I shall take an easy way out and refer to an artist who ranged long and happily in the great naval period of the early 1800's (as well as the Second World War).
I know almost nothing about Gardner, only that his work is lesser known than his contemporary Geoff Hunt and that he uses water colours (which is amazingly old fashioned).
