The future never sounded so dubious

From the original 'Rollerball' film, they don't make music like this any more. I haven't seen this film in twenty years, but I remember the scene which featured this music well, for it was followed by a scene where drunken party goers blow away tree's with a futuristic chrome hand gun, and the vision of human debauchery happily obliterating old trees has always stuck in my head. I doubt I was very old when I saw this film, only one other scene stands out in my memory. I haven't even bothered to watch the remake. Why bother?
