Well, I spent two hours playing about with this new toy this morning, and so far I've managed to figure out a few things. I'm still not sure how to do all I want, but no doubt it will come soon enough.

My parents came by yesterday and brought a most annoying gift for Pipski. It is a large plastic snail that has a button. Press this button and the snail launches into a 15 second long electrical melody. Naturally my father taught Pip how to press the button and so today we have had to listen to this 'music' repeatedly.

Right now I am listening to Kate Bush, 'Rockets Tail' and browsing a Danish museum site known as Middelalder Centret which has some of the largest existing seige engines in the world. Of particular interest is their 21 ton trebuchet, able to throw up to 300kg projectiles!

I may go and see the museum during the summer. They also have some interesting building projects that appeal to my modelling sensibilities.
