If they tried to organize as a volunteer, anti-crime group in the U.S. they'd fail to impress anyone.<BR/><BR/>What are the authorities doing about it? <BR/><BR/>We had a recent murder make national news. A Georgia man allegedly killed his daughter over her refusal to an arranged marriage. He's in custody, but the judge wants to make sure he understands the charges against him before the trial proceeds. Honor killings are the 21st century's crime of passion. You can't prevent murder that isn't premeditated. The best outcome we can hope for is locking everyone one who commits the crime until everyone else gets it through their thick head that their cultural relevance isn't legally binding.
